Ticonderoga. Carolyn Beatrice White, 88, of Ticonderoga, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013.
Born in Ticonderoga, September 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Beatrice V. (Barber) Brown.
Carolyn was pre-deceased by her husband, John McCauley White in 1976.
Survivors include her four children, Barbara E. Schindler and her husband, Tony of Deposit, Nancy M. Hartley and her husband, Carl of Ticonderoga, David J. White, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie of Putnam Station, and Dale White and his wife, Cathy of Goldsboro, NC; eight grandchildren, Aaron Schindler, Lief Schindler, Asa Schindler, Carrina Schindler, Lisa Mattison, Daniel Mattison, David White, Jr., and Rebekah White Gorton; and six great-grandchildren, Miles Schindler, Finley Schindler, Jonah Schindler, Daniel Mattison, Nataleigh Gorton and McCauley White.
A Graveside Service took place on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the family plot of the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Ticonderoga. The Rev. Scott Tyler, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga, officiated.
A Reception for family and friends followed the service at the family home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home of Ticonderoga.
