HAGUE. Mark Martucci of Hague, N.Y., 51, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, following a surgical procedure.
He was born June 28, 1961 in Astoria, N.Y., to Robert P. Martucci and Kay Janes Martucci.
He was the town of Hague deputy supervisor and town councilman; co-founder of Northern Lake George Resort in Silver Bay; and a state certified real estate appraiser.
He earned an associate degree in business administration from Adirondack Community College and a bachelors degree in finance from Siena College.
He married Kimberly Herrick on Sept. 17, 2005.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He enjoyed volunteering his time to many community organizations and causes.
He was a member of the Lake George Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Warren County Council of Chambers of Commerce, including past president, Lake George Regional Tourism Board, Warren County and Hague Republican committees, the Hague Chamber of Commerce, the Bolton Chamber of Commerce, Hague Volunteer Fire Department for more than 30 years, and former Hague Winter Carnival Committee Motorcycle and ATV Races coordinator.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Martucci of Hague; parents, Robert and Kay Martucci of Hague; and twin brother, David Martucci of Hague and his family.
Mark was especially fond and proud of his niece, Cassandra Martucci, and nephew, Tony Martucci, of Hague. Brother-in-law, Taylor Herrick of Queensbury, and Shep, his devoted canine companion, also survive him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
