Newcomb; It is with great sadness, the family of Marie E. Garrand announces the passing of their dear mother Sunday Jan. 27, 2013.
Marie was born August 6 1920 in Indian Orchard Mass, the daughter of the late Michael and Cornellia (Debuke) Borrie. She married the late Ellsworth Garrand, had four children, worked and resided in Newcomb NY.
She was also predeceased by her son Terry E. Garrand, a granddaughter, twelve brothers and sisters and many friends.
Marie was an inspirational friend and loved by many. She had a loving spirit, putting her heart into everything she did, whether canning, cooking, baking homemade pies, cakes and making soups or just spending time with her family and friends. She was the person (the "god mother") we all turned to for life's major decisions. She will be missed by all of us every day. We love you mom. gram and great gram, you are forever and always in our hearts.
Marie is survived by her three children all of Newcomb, Judy (Andy) Blanchette, Sandra
