Schroon Lake; Charles C. (Chuck) Hillman passed away peacefully on Friday January 11, 2013 at his home.
He was born March 31, 1923 in Schenectady, NY the son of the late Roscoe and Elsie (Lathrop) Hillman.
Charles owned and operated C. & J. Truck Caps for many years and retired from International Paper in Ticonderoga in 1985. Charles enjoyed antique cars, fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, June Daniels Hillman and his faithful companion Zip. Other survivors include his sister-in-law Anna Mandy of Witherbee and brother-in-law Raymond (JoAnne) Daniels of Mineville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Charles will be held in the spring.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Bachman, North Country Hospice, and good friends Tom and Joan Burns of Crown Point and Julie Clark of Ticonderoga for their care and support during the final weeks of Charles' life.
