Queensbury. Geraldine Dominica Scuderi of Queensbury, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013. She was 77.
Born on March 3, 1936, in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Christine E. (Scott) Scuderi.
Geraldine was a 1953 graduate of Ticonderoga High School. She married in 1956 and is survived by four children.
Geraldine was fondly known as "Cheech". Her passion in life was her artwork. Her paintings grace many homes and businesses throughout New York and Massachusetts.
Survivors include her four children, Loyal Ann West of Queensbury, Gina Mesnick of Hyde Park, Michael Winters of Putnam Valley, and Michelle Froman of Albany; six brothers, Emery Scuderi, Vincent Scuderi, John Scuderi, Victor Scuderi, Dennis Scuderi and Carl Scuderi; three sisters, Elsie Scuderi, Lois Crawford and Yvonne Rich; four grandsons, Shawn West, Joel Maillet, Chris Froman and Alex Winters; one granddaughter, Natasha Winters; two great-grandchildren, Vincent Michael West and Natalie Maillet; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for relatives and friends were held Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.
A Funeral Service took place at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin D. McEwan, Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga officiated.
The Rite of Committal followed at the family plot of St. Mary's Parish Cemetery of Ticonderoga.
